Family Tree Records offers a full-service recording studio tucked into the secluded countryside of Shelby, NC. Backed up by forest and surrounded by open fields and distant homes, our studio is an ideal space to focus on your project free of distraction.
Our state of the art studio features a live room, a raised vocal booth (complete with a window so you can vibe with your bandmates), a guitar room, and a control room. All recording rooms are double-walled and sound dampened, setting the conditions for your sound to be perfectly captured.
The feeling of a live performance is what gives great records their vitality. With the capacity to record up to 10 musicians simultaneously, we are able to comfortably accommodate most bands. The control room is fully optimized for a true listening experience. Musicians listen back to their mixes with pristine clarity.
